Interesting, car runs w/o fuel pump relay?
Maybe I'm not 100% sure, but I feel pretty confident ... that the relay that was disconnected is the fuel pump relay. I remember Pablo and Jester helping me out one time with it. Regardless, I've been starting the car, pretty much, every weekend ... and yesterday, I found this relay disconnected ....
.... and it still ran fine ... why?

Because once you build up oil pressure, there is a parallel path for voltage through the oil pressure switch, to the fuel pump...
Or someone has it hot wired....

also if you wish to disconect the fuel pump you would need to go just ahead of the tank and disconect the harness this may also cause your gage to read full though

Okay, I waited a couple of days to start it again. The relay is plugged in now. As soon as I turn the ignition on, I can hear the fuel pump kick in of which I don't remember hearing for a while. It started pretty much right away .. so yes, it is the fuel pump relay.
