L98 Power Problem.....

I noticed over the past that my car dosent seem to pull as solid as it used to, another symptom is that when i lets say push the gas pedal 3 inches down it used to pull, now it just makes the car loud like its working, but dosent pull? Any ideas???

Sounds like something behind the engine to me. Tranny related probably

Kamaro,

How is the idle quality? I had a similar problem on a 305TPI, and a mild "miss" in the idle, that progressivly got worse over time. After going over the ignition and ECM control system with a fine-toothed comb more than once, I pulled the injectors and shipped them off to Cruzin' Performance for cleaning and flow matching. What a difference it made. I felt like a kid with a new car.

It is then that I learned after some detailed research that the resistance of the injector operating coils really means nothing. The only accurate way to test injectors is to remove and flow test them. The ohmmeter check is only valid for testing the coils in a go/no-go condition, and means nothing to injector flow.

Just a possibility.
