Rhino Ramps kick a$$!
I don't know how many people use these things or even know about them. Perhaps I'm behind the times, but thought I'd share for those who still have to jack up their car to change the oil. Rhino ramps are those plastic ramps sold at Kmart, Walmart, bla. These are the ONLY ramps that I can drive the Camaro up on (that don't cost an arm and a leg). I paid about $30 for mine a few months ago and they hold our cars pretty good! Just thought I'd share since for years I've been looking for something like this that didn't cost much. I don't know if they are as high as the metal ones .. I've heard they are ... but anyway ... check it out!

Allan
could you not use the metal ones?
just curious.
the metal ones would make me feel better, not so much for structure, just would prefer to spend $30 on metal than plastic
...semantics!
thanks

You'd have to see them to see what I'm talking about.

My car is not lowered. I have never tried the 2x4 idea. In the pic you have posted, they look like they are a bit shorter than the metal ones that I have tried.
Another thing, a buddy of mine (Hes an idiot) drove his car up the ramps and right off the other side. "I couldn't tell when I was all the way up!" he said. What a bitch of a job getting them back out from underneath the car!

For those with clearance issues... There's metal ramps available at CSK and walmart that have optional extensions.. sure, it ends up costing a bit more (25 for ramps, 20 for ext), but sometimes it's the only way to get one of these long-nosed monsters up.. just an FYI..
Also, I don't remember what brand the ramps were, but I don't think CSK or Walmart carried any other metal ones....

MSD Coil, Accel 8mm wires, splitfire plugs.. need a job to get this list longer

You know what I'm thinking, Godti ...that maybe the TA's front-end ground clearance is lower than the IROC/Z28's? That's what I'm thinking. If that's the case, then these probably won't work. Like I said before, my car barely makes it up - but they work for me so I'm happy

I have tried the 2x4 idea and that is the only way I can get my car on ramps. I have taken about 1 coil off the springs. I also have problems getting a jack under the car. I some times have to pick the car up by hand (with friends help) to be able to slide it underneath the car.
