Engine: 5.3L

Transmission: auto

1989 vs 1991 LB9

I was reading how the 1989 lb9 is rated at 190hp, and the 1991 is rated at 205hp. What changed that gave the engine more power? Is it simply the switch to speed density, or is it more involved.
