I need some shorty plugs for my car because of my headers, its so dang close. I went to the local pep boys and checkers, and they only had them for like 60's and 70's camaros, I need shorty's for mine, any ideas? someone please reply asap and give me a web site, or anything you can do.

P.S. Also looking for a dash pad, if you know of one, let me know

Accel makes some. I don't know a whole lot about them because I've never used them. But a friend of mine put them in his 91 Z28 so I figure they'll work on our cars. But I do remember that he wasn't real impressed with them performance-wise.

I didn't like the Accell shorty plugs either. They were designed with a tiny little .035" gap in mind. If you gap them up to a more reasonable .045" then the side electrode is angled and no longer paralell with the center electrode- a performance no-no.

If clearance isn't TOO tight you could try a set of Autolite #24. THey are a semi-shorty design that works well in late model cast iron head small blocks. THey aren't quite as short as the Accells but darned close.
