I am just curious of what u people with headers have to keep your plug wires from being burnt?

I bought those boots from summit (yeah holy $hit thats expensive) and was just wondering if theres an alternate way...

I'm using Accel 276S shorty plugs. This weekend, in prep for emissions test, did a "full" tune-up, with Summit 8mm HEI silicone wires & 90 degree boots, and Made For U looms (was stock before). I have centerbolt covers. The whole thing fits beautifully, plenty of clearance for wire burn protection purposes.

I have SLP 1-3/4" headers, AC Rapidfires, and Taylor Spiro Pro wires. They seem to fit fine, about as well as they did with the TES that used to be on the car, except now they want to come down from above rather than up from underneath.
