so today my car wont start. all i got was a clicking noise. sounded like a starter to me? but i thought i'd check for any ses codes anyhow. when i jumped the pin and turned to on, i got the code 12 maybe like once, then it weirded out and just flashed constantly and a constant clicking noise from under the hood. so i couldnt even pull any codes. car still wont start, but now im not getting any clicking even. ideas?

 

Bad connection at the battery, bad battery cable, bad battery

"Codes" aren't much help to such a situation. Fix the battery first before you worry about that.

 

jeeeeeeeez, you guys are smart. it was the battery. ive never had that where all my accessories and lights worked fine but it would click like that. i jumped it and it was stubborn but finally started. must be that POS energizer from pep boys. im going to get an interstate today. i hadnt driven it in 2 weeks but still it should have held a charge that long.
