compared to an LT1...
how close do you think this would be to an LT1 4th gen camaro?
350ci
041 heads
9.5:1 compression
performer intake
600cfm carb
comp XE268H cam
hedman 1 5/8" shorty headers with 3" catback
th700-r4 tranny with a shift kit, corvette servo and vette convertor
3.23 rear, lets say that its hooking up.
naxt i plann to add 180cc AFR heads, 750 carb, XE270HR cam, and 3.73 gears. what do you think that would get me to?

what if i went with the crane 278-2 cam? that has 114 lobe separation angle, wouldn't that be better for the street and get better gas milage?

Yes, the wider lobe separation of the Crane cam will tend to cruise nicer, favour your shorty style headers, and return a little better fuel mileage over the Comp with more overlap.
The crane HMV278-2 is a nice overall street cam and very NOS friendly.
The comp XE268H10 would probabily make a little more peak horsepower over the Crane through Long tube headers and open exhaust. It's a little more aggressive because of the tighter LSA.
