I know I need to disconnect a plug on the distributer, but I have no idea which one. There was a picture posted awhile ago but it was for a tpi setup. Please help, the car is running and waiting for me to return.
Forgot to add my sig to help you out-it is an LG4.

i think it's tan wire white stripe. should be in a loom over or near the blower box. it's a single wire and has a connection you unplug. if the timeings been set before it may be hanging out.

Thanks, but I finally found the right one. It is a large 4 wire pug that hangs way down behind the distributer.

It's usually a tan wire with a black stripe with a WeatherPak connector.

Ede & Jake let's not forget he has an LG4. He's absolutely right about the 4 wire connector. Dont pass out info if you're not at least 99% sure it's correct

yeah blade you're right, but i was at least 99% sure it was. guess none of us know everything. never had a lg4 so i wouldn't know for sure and i doubt if any of us look in a manual for info before we post. but if we'd look in a manual first we'd have a lot less post. actually all the rpo engine codes don't mean much to me, i can't keep up on them. only ones i remeber are l98 and l79.
