Car: 1984 Camaro z28

Engine: 305

Transmission: 700r4

High Engine Idle

I just bought an 84 305 z28 that was running rough. So I replaced the spark plugs, distributor and rotor. This has significantly smoothed out the motor, but now the engine is idling at 1250-1500 when before it was at about 700-800...

Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.

vacumn leak, make sure you didn't knock off any hoses when you did the tune-up
