Gas -> Timing
I was browsing the LS1.com forum and there was a post that was talking about the relationship of timing and the amount of gasoline in the tank. They were saying that in the 4th gens, if there is less than 2 gallons (or something like that) it retards the timing a little bit, and if there ismore than that, it will advance it a little. Is this true? Do our thirdgen's do this too? Despite the added weight, when my car has a lot of gas in it, it seems to pick up faster. Anybody know?

Our cars dont care about that. It's probably just your imagination. The ECM doesnt have a fuel sender input nor does it monitor how much gas you have in the tank. hehe
