Stock stall?
What is the stock stall an 87 Z28 LB9? Becuase I'm looking at the protorque converter, and the stalls avalible are 1800-2100 or 2200- 2800. It says that the stall is relitive the input troque. So I would like to nknow the stock stall first.

stall speed is relative to weight of car, Hp and torque. you could go out and power brake the car and watch at what rpm it moves ,that basically is your stall speed. i'd guess it'll be around 1600 to 1800 rpm.

New,
I've got the DBCF code converter on my '86. The factory stall speed (K-factor, as GM puts it) is 2,025 RPM. I think I got it due to the 2.77 BW axle. If you remove the inspection cover from the transmission/flywheel area, you might be able to read the four-letter code on the line RPO tag (if it's still there) and determine what stall speed converter you have.

-Flowmaster Catback
-Performance Resource Chip
-700R4 (Rebuilt) Too much done to actually list
-K&N Airfilters
-Ported Plenum
-2.77 Gears (not much to brag about but eh, its there)
-MSD 8.5 mm plug wires
-Problems every other day with the car (probably not a mod, but to me it sure makes a difference)
