How do you convert to this system? I want to do it so I can add a supercharger someday. What parts do you need, where can they be bought and do most mechanics know how to do this if I can't do it?

One of the easiest ways to make the swap is to find a donor car that has the serpentine belt setup. You have to swap almost everything on the front end of your engine, including brackets, alternator, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump, crank pulley, and water pump. You can do this swap with a moderate amount of knowledge, tools and time. A mechanic shouldn't have any problem at all. Some of the guys out here have actually made this swap, so they may be able to give you more detailed information.
