How to change rotor?

I was going to change my cap and rotor because of some problems and because its cheap to do. I figure I can just switch the wires over 1 by 1 to a new cap with no problem, but how do i change the rotor? Never really done it and dont know how intricate of a part it is. Been doing a lot of my own work and I like learning so I'd rather do stuff myself if I can. I tried searching the posts but cant find anything on changing the distributor rotor. Thanks in advance. stock 91 rs 305 tbi

Rotor just pops straight up. If not, try wigglin it loose. When installing the new rotor, it will only allow you to put it on one way as well so it should be a simple job.
