Hmmm - worse case scenario is you take off the tb and put a crescent wrench on the iac and brace the tb for leverage. There's thread locker on the threads and that's why you're having trouble. If you've done the tb bypass, taking off the tb is not bad at all.

3" Dynomax "cat" back,K&N filters, TB bypass, 3" pipe in place of cat, cleaned and flow-matched injectors, 180' thermo, mild ignition mods, synthetic oil, kicker sound system, soon to attempt engine swap...

Twiz,
While you're there getting a gasket, get a small jar of anti seize compound so the IAC doesn't get stuck again. There should be no sealant on the threads - that's what the gasket is all about.

The only way I know of to get the gasket is to buy the kit. It comes with the IAC housing gasket, IAC gasket, and the top plate gasket. GM still sells them, don't know about autozone. While it is apart, check out my version of the TB bypass TB Bypass
