Stupid Question
I know, I know, it would seem logical that I should know this, but I don't want to **** anything up. So how should I go about using my newly aquired Crane tool?
Bolt it onto the rocker stud or what?

Yup, bolt it onto the rocker stud. I always found it easier to do it with two people, one person pull on the tool to compress the spring and hold the head while the other puts the valve locks on.
yep put it on a rocker stud, some you hook on the cam for OHC engines. you'll find you won't have enough hands using it. they mad\ke one that screws down and stays in place, works a lot better and easier.
