formula for runner size
What are the formulas for figuring out runner diameter and length for for a given engine size/rpm? For figuring out resonant frequency.

Oh boy my specialty.. hehe
Alright I'm the engine and powertrain group leader for a Formula SAE racing team (you can see the car below), so I know a few things about resonance tuning. The thing is... i'd be typing for days. My aim is Xstasy007. IM me and I'll give a shot at explaining a couple different methods for determining everything from runner length to diamter to dual runner setups, etc. It gets mighty complex. I have a spreadsheet made up for the well recognized Helmholtz resonator method too so that could make your calculations a bit easier.... If anyone else wants this spreadsheet lemme know.
