check engine light comes on after sitting at light for a minuite
when i sit at a light for a minuite or two.....the check engine light comes on....when i drive away ...it goes back off......please help...

I had the same thing happen on my 95 TA. It turned out to be a bad O2 sensor. Might want to check that out. Oh, and dont run your car up to 120 with this problem, I did and my car died.... Not easy to slow down and steer at 120 with power nothing!

My 85 IROC does something similiar but only on start up. After I've driven a block, the check engine light goes off. I BELIEVE the code was 24--at any rate it had something to do with the VSS. If I remember correctly, the manual said to disregard the code/light if the rear wheels weren't moving. What's that all about? Vader?
