How do you test the valves in sbc heads before you dissasemble them? What fliud do you use. Do you just poar CRC in the cumbustion chambers and let it sit overnight? what is the method? thanks

leaks,..don't you have to put them on their side and pour some crc inthem, and see if it leaks down over night,.. shouldn't they hold the fluid? if it drains out,. the valves are bad, right?

ok yeha i guess you can do that. if i ahd the heads off i'd just grind the valves and seats and check everything for wear and cracks. replace seals and springs. i'd do a compression test if the heads were on the engine, that would give you a better idea of what you have.
