Forget the 10 20 and 50 overbores. It's not done.

And, I can't stress this enough, don't overbore just to overbore or to gain horsepower. That is very bad pratice, only overbore if the block really needs it and to the next standard oversize needed.

Why do you say that MRZ28HO?
It is my understanding that stroking an engine puts more stress on it. Something to do with the angle of something-or-other on the crankshaft. Is that correct?

Not true. I was going to go .020 over on an engine I built, only reason I didnt was I didnt want to wait 2 months for KB to make the pistons (they produce sizes in cycles, like January-February is one size, March-April is another). .010 was a thought, but it wasnt enough to clean up the bores on my block. Only one I would leave out is .050, I cant think of any time I have seen that cept race stuff.
As for what GPL said, overboring should only be done as necessary, because there is only so much you can overbore and so many times you can do it before you throw the block away. And 10CI isnt really going to make a significant bit of difference anyway.
