Rocker Studs, different lengths?

I'm trying to buy a set of heads, and a guy near me has a set forsale for cheap. I have a '87 350 with a hydraulic roller cam(SLP running about .510" lift with my rockers). The guy said that the rocker studs for roller cams are longer than the studs for tappet cams, and these studs were for a tappet cam. The springs are good for a .550" flat tappet cam. So...would this rocker stud/spring combo work with my cam?

Thanks all

the studs are the same length, if the heads have longer looking studs it's because they pulled out. not likely springs for a flat cam will work for a roller. if the springs are used i'd either have them checked or trash them and buy new to match my cam.
