350 and 305 Flywheel

I have an 84 LG4 in my car and i just bought a 350 for it. The 350 block is from an 87-95 car with a 1 piece rear main seal. Could i use the flywheel from the LG4 on the new 350? thanks alot for any responses...

nope. the bolt circle of your flywheel is something like 3.75" and the bolt circle for the crankshaft of your new engine is about 3.00"

GM sells the flywheel, but it is about $270

but...

NAPA has the flyhweel, usually on special order ( about a week wait)

it is for the '87-92 Camaro/Firebird with a 5.0L(305)

and it is $100 including a $50 core charge. so if your old flywheel is in alright shape, its only $50.

just go there about a week or two before you plan to swap the engine, so they can order it and they will have the flywheel in time.

i'd rather wait a week, than pay about $225 too much for a flywheel.

I have a 1 peice rear main seal flywheel I could sell you for $75. I work at a machine shop so I could put a fresh cut on it, and replace the ring gear if neccesary. if your interested, my email is maxum56@yahoo.com. I will ship it too. thanks Joe
