V-belt to serpentine

I was wondering if it's possible to change the AC compressor's pulley from the V-belt to the serpentine. Can I do it myself? Or do I have to have the system discharged, and remove the compressor.

I don't know what knowledge you have so whether you can do it or not is unknown. You don't need to discharge the freon but it does take special tools and knowledge to do it, it's not just an unboltable part. It is pressed onto the shaft and you need a special puller and installer and set the clearances to spec. Best let a trained tech do that for you
