I was thinking about getting one of these for the MeanYellowZ, I don't know exactly what they are called but they attach to the air cleaner and then press to the hood of the car. Theres an opening in the back (towards the cowl) to let only the cold air to come in. Where would I find one? How much? Do they work good? Thanx....

Prolly made by the same people who invented the "Vornado" Don't buy that crap, that's retarded. That'd be like me running a vacuum hose from the wheel well to a funnel on my throttle body to let the TPI only get "cold air" that's gonna restrict your flow. Here's an idea, cut a hole in your hood and fiberglass a scoop on that b i t c h, that'll get ya some cold air.

For a carbed car? An air cleaner base with a big foam doughnut around it? My car had one with the old carb, but it doesn't clear the electric choke on the Edelbrock. No idea where to get one though.
