Removal of Charcoal canister

I know what you are all going to say, I should leave it in there, but this is one case where it is not a good idea. I have switched over to a DFI unit that replaces the stock computer and there is no provisions for it. Therefore it is inoperable. The electrical plug that goes to it controls a valve to open and close but now there is no signal so it will not work right? How do I make a venting system so the tank does not build up excessive presure? Anyone done this yet?

Thanks

Steve

I say you might as well leave it on there so you don't have gas fumes pervading the engine compartment. On the other hand I went a month without one and had no problem. Whatever you do make sure the tank is vented in some way.
