Heads Question.

I'm looking at a set of GM 5.7L TBI heads...(L05, right?) and I'm wondering if they're worth a crap or are they just as bad as the L03 heads but just with bigger combustion chambers?

He said they are... GM 22 and 14102193.

Can anyone shed a little light on this for me...don't wanna spend $ on junk heads.

Then you don't want L05 heads either.

What are you hoping to do?

Better flow.

Just something better than stocker L03 heads. But I'm thinking that L05 heads aren't much better...

Anyone know the flow #'s on there heads? Valve sizes? Combustion chamber size?

1.94/1.50 valves, they have either 72 cc or 76 cc chambers and the same swirl ports that your L03's have. They will lower your compression to like 8 to 1 they are basically the exact same head just with bigger valves for a 350, I would bet that they flow almost the same as the L03's. Not worth it unless they are new, like 100 bucks, and being put on a very mild 350 daily driver.

Get a set of 416s, 081s, or 601s and port them according to the instructions at the end of my sig.
