old crusty and brittle

I always see questions on this message board so I decided to start a complaining thread and perhaps someone can offer some insight on others issues. I will start. You know what I hate all those thin, tiny & age brittling vacuum lines that gm so happily decided to put in our cars. What a p.i.t.a.! There appear to also be far to many packed in to small an area. I plan on removing as many as I can when I install my stroker! Well theres a start lets here what ya have to say. later.

Geez. I thought someone was calling me...

The hard nylon lines are easily replaceable, available almost anywhere, and are far more durable than the equivalent sized rubber hose that they replaced. Look at any 15 year old rubber hose under the hood of a vehicle and see what I mean.

Incidentally, mine are 18 years old, and are as good as new. I njust keep them clean and oil-gree so they don't rot.

Also, since your concern has been addressed and this thread seems to be an open invitation for speculation, baseless opinion, venting, and non-technical conjecture, it's no longer an open topic. Sorry.
