having engine swaps done for you

i read on another thread that someone was getting a LT1 with tranny installed into his car.... he said it ended up being almost $10,000, i think it was FLYNLOW that said it. anyhow, which companies do these engine swaps? how much is just a bare swap? thanks.

depends on the area. i know a guy just had a new engine put in his cargo van and it ended up costing him $4000 out the door. his motor was $1800 rebuilt. so figure he spent $2200 on an install and various other belts, hoses, fluids, etc.
