I cant speak for your V6, but I can tell you that Ive tried both and like the +4's much better. Ive had them in my car for the last 2 years!

How about just plain old ACs?

Seriously, look through these boards. Anybody who's been around for a while, knows a decent amount about cars, and/or has a fast car will tell you not to bother with gimmick plugs. And if fast cars and the people who know them don't use 'em, why should you?

Well said Ed. I have to laugh at the concept of multi-tip plugs...electricity ONLY goes to one tip..the other 3 are a placebo.

Further, now you have 4 tips to be concerned about the proper gap etc.

The best performance from any plug (and I've tried virtually all at one time or another) was when I ground the tip of the electrode back to expose as much of the "spark flame" as possible. That will yield the best performance regardless of spark plug.

It's just marketing hype. I run ACDelco R43TS in my race car and they work fine. For the extra cost of the fancy plugs it's not worth it. The only advantage to using other plugs are if you buy platinum plugs. They'll last longer than regular ones and only if the engine isn't worn out and fouls them.
