Hey guys I was wondering what the clip with the 2 wires that goes on top of the steering box does?? I don't have a computer in my car and I realized that one of the wires is already cut from when I originally switched my car over to carburation from TBI. This time I would like to wire it all up right and get rid of everything thats not needed. thanks

 

i believe they go, or use to go, to the ecm. something about letting the ecm know what you had the wheels at full lock.

 

Its the power steering pressure switch. It did originally go to the ecm. It raises idle speed if pressure is high enough.

 

Wonder if that's why my fast idle solenoid is engaged in a de-cel situation, until RPMs drop to a certain point (about 1500, IIRC).
