what do i have to do to put in new 8mm wires
what do i have to do to put in new 8mm wires
i just recently got some new 8mm wires and want to put them in and someone told me that i would have to retime the engin if i took off the distributor cap and i also had to check the voltge of each wire is that true and what do i have to do

What a crock! I think someone is yanking on you. This must be some Mustang owner or something.
Just take them off and swap them over one at a time. You don't really have to do anything else. Just be careful they all go back where they came from, and be especially sure that they're back in their little looms so they don't accidentally end up against the exhaust and get fried.

You can smell 'em thousands of miles away.
Does his car even run?? How many hours a day does he work on it if that's how he does things? You should consider changing advice sources.
