how posible is this
my cousin is buying a 89 iroc owner insist its an iroc with somekind of delete option has all iroc emblems except stripe and on the door decal has a 305tbi 5 speed i did not see the z28 rpo code in the center console is there a chance this can still be a iroc and is it worth 3000 if its a rs all it needs is paint and a drivers seat

There are some tips to help you determine if it's the real thing or not. They may have replaced the console, I'm pretty sure it would have to have the Z28 RPO. My car is an obvious fake...
To be 100 percent sure you should do a CarFax. There was a stripe delete option that also excluded the door decals. For $3000 I would look around and find a real IROC-Z if it's really an RS.
