MAT Help Please Car runs rough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 1992 camaro with a 305 TBI and a 5 speed I am getting a code 23 and need to check and replace the Mat sensor. The car is stock so where is the sensor and How do I replace it. The car is really running bad cold and seems to idle way to high 1500 rpms or so. Could the mat cause these problems.

The mat sensor is screwed to the firewall next to the AC/Heater box. It's a black rectagular "box" with a green connector and three wires coming out of it. There's also a vaccuum line connected to it. Unscrew it and replace it or borrow someone else's to test it on your car.
