SA Rockers To Standard Rockers

Any truth to this:

86-87 Corvette Alum. Head w/SA Rockers. To convert over to standard roller rocker,All that is needed is to replace the factory pushrod guideplates to a Hardened Plate(Crane,Comp Cams ETC) and use a hardened pushrod?

Anyone do this?

Also need copy of cam card for Lingenfelter 219/219 roller cam.

Thanks.

if it had SA rockers there couldn't be any guideplate at all. If you are wanting to convert the heads, and don't have the rockers, you can put in guideplates, screw in studs and hardened pushrods, and non SA rockers. The factory SA rockers were the guideplate.
