valve cover removal
i unbolted the valve cover and the top slides off the bolts but the bottom of the cover is like stuck, also, theres a metal tube coming out the back of the carb over to what i think is my brake thing, its in the top drivers side corner of the bay, and it goes through a little hole in the plate that holds the linkage for the carb, how do i move this outs the way?

The metal tube screws into the carb base. A 5/8" open-end wrench on its nut and a 3/4" open-end wrench on the piece it screws into (to hold it still) will pop it right out of there.

Did rust particles fall in?? if so how much? Probably wont ruin your engine but it's usually common practice to use a shop vac and clean everything up while you've got the valve cover off. If you don't have access to a shop vac just use a rag.
When you're done putting the cover back on, change the oil. That way any contaminants that fell in will be removed.

when i was undoing that line on my car i went at it with only one wrench.
BAD MISTAKE!
I kinked the line. luckily it didnt break and i was able to bend it back. but ya, always use two wrenches on those. Thats one mistake that i'll never make again. heheh
