What is the valve spring torque specifications?

Im almost done with rebuilding my engine but i dont know what the torque for the valve springs are.I read somewhere that it should be 55 foot lbs but that seems to be really tight...Can anyone help me out?

there's nothing threaded about the valve spring to have a torque spec. it's help in place by friction on the keepers and spring preasure aginst the retainers.

The distance is a measurement between the valve and the rocker tip. Its usaully between 15 and 30 thousands(measured with a feeler gauge). Id suggest locking nuts to go up top to make sure they dont back off.

P.S. Hydrolic lifters are zero lash(no distance between valve tip and rocker) plus a half turn down.
