Making a '93 block into roller cam block?
The block has the raised bosses for the spider but is not drilled and tapped, same for the retainer on the front.
Can I just drill and tap them and install a factory roller setup?
Is this something I could/should do myself?
Thanks,Don

Yes, you can. You also need to be sure the tops of the lifter bosses are machined flat to accept the "dog bones" that retain the lifters.
Your other option is to use aftermarket roller lifters with retainer links.

Make sure the two holes in front of the cam are there for the cam thrust retainer also. If you plan on using a factory style roller cam it has to be there.
