Help, My Car is Dead!

I started up my car this morning fine and went back inside to let it warm up, when i came out it was dead. I started it back again and the idle kept going to 1500 and to about 200 and back to 1500 and so forth. Giving it gas wouldn't help much. Finally it died and now it wont start at all. I had my friend crank it while i checked the TBI and there was no fuel coming out of the injectors at all. I'm thinking its either the fuel pump, frozen fuel line, or clogged injectors?? I really don't know how to diagnose the problem and where to begin. Thanks for any help.
p.s. i changed the fuel filter a few months ago

At first blush I'd say pump or frozen lines. Even if you have some clogged injectors it's highly unlikely that they'd all clog up so badly in a day's time. How cold is it where you are? Do you have a way to check fuel pressure? Also, are you sure there's gas in the tank?

It was extremely cold this morning. Probably around 15 to 20 degrees. The gas tank is almost full. I'll just wait till 12 when the sun comes out, maybe it will unfreeze. Would putting dry gas in the tank help?

After waiting a few hours, i cranked the car again and it started right up, but it only ran for 2 mins again and now its dead again. I told this to a mechanic and he says it doesn't sound like a fuel pump. But if it is, hes gonna charge me 50 for towing, 50 for diagnosing, 100 for fuel pump, and 300 for installation.
Can i disconnect the fuel line that goes into the tbi and crank the car and see if there is fuel coming out of the hose, or does this only work for carburated cars?
