Sluggish accelleration...
Recently I replaced my tranny mount. I never noticed any big difference in accelleration even while it was broken. Afterwards, for about two days, the car seemed to accellerate slowly, at least first gear did (it's an auto -- 305 TBI with a 700r4 to be more specific). After those couple days, it seems to be fine again. It's been about five days now since I changed it, and doesn't seem to have any problems, but is that a normal thing? Does the tranny mount need to be broken in or anything? Thanks.
uhhh tranny mounts dont have a break-in period! they have a break-out period in my car(big shift mods!) but no its normal! no brakin required! it was probably just some computer error or something! if it does it again note the activity and post it on this forum.

well, I was looking for some reason why this would happen... I figured the mount wouldn't need to be broken in.. although the mount looked slightly different from the mount that was in there (which had been replaced once... that time was from me revving the car and throwing it into drive.. oh how I wish I had a manual.. heh) .. but, anyone got any idea why the car would accellerate like that for that short period of time and then be fine after that?
