70's camaro 350 cam
does anyone know where i can find info on the cams used in the 350s of the early 70s that were rated at 375 horsepower. I need to know the lift and duration specs to determine what heads to go with. Thanks.

http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Ca...ML/128-169.asp go down to page 148, it's the "346" grind.
You don't really want that cam. I've had it, I can tell you first hand, there's lots better cams out there nowadays than that one. Nothing wrong with a solid cam though.
That won't tell you what heads to get.
It originally came in motors with regular, plain vanilla, stock, 186 "double-hump" castings (among a few similar others).

You can try www.NastyZ28.com for the factory specs, but I don't recall them having the cams listed.

Thats the old LT-1 cam, but the LT-1 only had 370hp in the Corvette... it was rated 360 in the Z28.
.458"/.484" lift and 317*/346* duration
(Intake/Exhaust)
Probably not a terrible cam, but wouldn't be my first choice for the street. I've heard 350s and 327s with that cam though... sounds pretty hairy.
