new alternator, new battery, no charge

Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: Ford 9 inch - 4.11 gears
new alternator, new battery, no charge

i have a new alt. and battery and new belt, but i cant get my car to keep a charge. ive got volts to the alt, and the wire to the starter, but still no charge! after the car runs for a little bit, it will not crank back. i have to jump it off. any suggestions?

Have you checked the condition of the three wire harness that plugs into the back or bottom of the alternator?

with key on, you need power at all the wires at the alt, one will be lower than batt, the others will be batt

ill check the plug. i know i got power to the rear wire. ill also check the three wires. thanks.
