i took my heads off today and saw that the gaskets covered the water holes/pockets and only let a hole maybe an 1/8 of an inch. is this restricting flow? i haven't gotten new gaskets yet or seen what they look like but should i widen them so the whole water pocket is exposed? or are my gaskets messed up? thanks eric

 

That's the way they're intended to be.

 

like five7 said they're made that way fro a reason, don't change anything on the new gaskets
