acceleration choppy at wot
ok ive had this prob since last yr and all the little things i tryied has not work so this is what it does
as iam driving and I push the gas down at more than half or WOT the car hesitates a sec then kinda stumbles then when it gets the power it kinda shakes and putters (like it throws u foward)and choppy accleration thru the rpms. Revs up good but it feels like its only getting half the power at wot, then it will clear if i let off of it and hit it again, if i just stay on it and shift to 2nd, 2nd will bogg down like i shifted too early.
also im currently having problems with the tq converter not locking up when the car is warm i dont know if that will have to do with any thing but just to let ppl know
also here is the 2 dyno runs that i did when i had this problem
any info will be greatly appreciated
*note* i already fixed the fuel pressure also*

I was going to suggest that you might be going lean at high throttle angles, but the A/F graph (presumably a tailpipe sniffer) belies that theory. Have you thoroughly checked the ignition system? Any mods to the system?

yes i have replaced everything except the whole distributor, cap, rotor, coil, ign moldule, wires, plugs, its probly due again for another tune up been about 6 months.
im not understanding what u are saying about the a/f ratio, i know its rich but i have an adjustable regulator its set at 46psi compared to 52psi where i had it b4

Maybe your torque converter is locking when your throttle is half or more for some strange reason.

i have similar problems with my car. however, my car is carbureted and has no computer. you are running TPI right? heres my thread, you can read it if you want https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=224042
the general consensus is that it's an ignition problem...probably my spark plugs (i havent checked yet). take a look at your plugs maybe?

update !!
the problem accures now more often than b4 , mostly everytime u go more than 1/2 trottle around 3500rpm the tq will die and it will struuggle up the rpm range, it almost feels like the fuel get restricted or runs lean around 3500rpms, so i put a new fuel pump it was free to replace and the car did the same exact thing.
now im thinking injectors, ignition, tq converter ??
