Who has made wire-looms for centerbolt valve covers?
I want to route my wires perfectly, and I like the look of the "made for you" ones but for what it looks like $40 is outrageous. Has anyone got a good setup they'd like to share? Thanks for advice.

O.K., you are going to LOVE this!
I made mine for FREE! And they look really good. I will try to give you the most detailed account of what I did.
I put new spark plugs and wires on my 350 TPI and the wires came with plastic deviders. I took a small drill bit and drilled a small hole in the middle of the wire separaters and with a small wood screww, attached them to a piece of angled steel that was, at one time, used to connect office desks and table together. Basically junk and parts that were left over once the office got things where they wanted them. I always save screws and bolts 'cause you never know...any way. I just made 4 of them.
2 with the big 4-wire dividers
2 with the 2-wire dividers
I put the 4-wires ones near the back and the 2-wire one up front. I unscrewed the center bolts and just slipped the pieces in and lined up the hole in the peice and reinstalled the bolt. I swear if you saw it you would think I bought them. I hope I helped out. just look in the hardware section of a Home Depot of Lowe's or Ace Hardware store for like some small brackets. and just do what I did. Works really good.
Have fun!

Wow good idea. I want to keep the wires 1/2" from the bracket so I'll probably use a rubber grommet or find something else non-conductive to use. I think I'll head over to Lowe's tomorrow morning and get creative. Thanks a lot.
