cam change

I have an 89 305 TPI. I think it has the roller cam (correct me if i'm wrong) If i do a cam change will i have to replace the lifters?

I want to put a Speedomotive 383 in this summer and would like to know if i can use a roller cam and not have to buy new lifters for it

Depends on what block you use for the 383. If its a roller block, you could reuse the old lifters if they are not damaged. I would say if you are going to go to the trouble of replacing the crank, maybe rods, pistons, etc. and make a 383, why risk an old lifter?
