Car: Camaro Z281991 Engine: 5.7L/350 TPI Transmission: TH700R4 ··································· Car: Acura CL 1998
Engine: 3.0L/183
Transmission: 4 spd auto/OD
Ideal combo?
4 bolt 350, forged pistons, vortecs stock, upgraded springs
hot cam, 2200-2400 stall, gears maybe 3.42 ?
1 5/8 headers to single 3" pipe unless dual 2 1/2 is beneficial..
th700 with trans go shift kit.. stock DS
what can I expect out of this ?
The car is driven daily, looking for a nice street-strip combo..
Is the cam a good choice or could a bit bigger be better ?
I like the lumpy/missing Idle Idea but it has to be livable in traffic.
thx

The HOT cam is a very streetable cam. Remember, it was designed to be functional with the LT1 computer. HOT cam and vortecs are not a new combo. Do a search, there are a few members here who are running this combo with decent results.
