Will Comp Cams Pro Magnum Roller Rocker Arms fit under centerbolt valve covers??

I am thinking about buying these roller rockers. I bought tall centerbolt valve covers so I know they will clear height wise but will they clear the supports that go vertically which the bolt passes through??

Here is my setup:
- ZZ4 / Corvette aluminum L98 heads
- ZZ4 / LT4 springs good to .525 lift
- ZZ4 Hydrolic roller cam
- GM 3/8 Studs made for guideplates
- Going to buy these summit 5/16 7.2 pushrods or these trickflow push rods
- Going to buy these Comp Cams guide plates

Other questions:
- Are those pushrods the correct length? Which ones are better the summit or trick flow ones?
- What is the difference between raised and flat guide plates, which ones do I need?
- Will the above guide plates work fine or do I need special guide plates or can anyone recommend anything better?

They should clear without a hitch. Usually when you run the boxy aluminum ones you have to cut into the valve cover baffeling. If they rub a bit you can notch out that baffeling without hurting your valve cover.

No. That's why GM sells aluminum ones instead of what common sense would dictate... steel.

You will have to modify (crush) the oil baffles for the PCV somewhat, at the very least. Also, you will probably find that the Poly-Locks are too tall tfor them.

Thanks for the help so far guys

Height is not a problem because I using tall valve covers as stated above, these valve covers are about 1 - 1 1/2 inches taller then stock. I was wonderings is the supports that go down with the bolts will hit the side of the rockers?

What about the pushrods and guideplate questions?

There really isn't anyway to accurately guess the pushrod length.
Buy a special adjustable pushrod to check the length with the right valvetrain geometry and then order the right length pushrods.

Most likely, either will work. The raised are slightly more accurate if they'll work with the rest of your parts.

How should i go about finding out if they will work other then buying them and wasting the money?

I'm pretty sure they'll work on those heads. Most heads will accomodate either kind, especially stock ones, with everything (valves, studs, push rods) in their stock locations.

You could call somebody that makes both kinds and see which one they recommend. I believe Comp does for example. Make sure it's somebody that offers both; that way they won't just try to sell you whichever one they have.
