Tired of being woke up

Hey guy's this question is not 3rd gen related but I am, so maybe posting this won't offend anyone.

My neighbor has a '92 Honda Civic. Every morning when he goes to start the car it takes several minutes sometimes longer before the car will start. Once the car starts, it starts up each time right away. It's only after the car has been parked over night that it will not start.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
I'm sick of him waking me up at 5:35 every morning hearing it cranking.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

I know nothing about honda fuel injection, but if it has a cold start injector, that could be the problem. Its probably a fuel issue, but it could also be an ignition problem, or even a mixture problem.

Definatly sounds like a bad check valve in the fuel system. His honda must be in sad shape cause my p's got 3 of them and they dont make a noise no matter what you do(and ones a 90 with 162k).

Thanks! I went to Alldta's TSB's and they show a bulletin for a leaky fuel pump. I don't know the details of the TSB but it sounds about what you guys have mentioned.

Thanks a lot!

P.S. I try to be a good neighbor, but sometimes it's har! lol

if it puffs alot of smoke when he finally gets it to startup, he has bad valve seals and they're leaking oil into the chamber overnight... making it hard to start in the morning.
