ok to use self aligning rockers and guide plates

I broke a piston on the 350 and im building a solid roller 383. is it ok to use the comp self aligning rockers that I have with guide plates. machine shop tells me no but I dont think that it will be a problem

THey are right, can't use both, only one or the other.

you cant use both.
pick one.


if i were you, i would sell the rockers.. you'll get most of your money back, then buy a set of non aligning rockers..
