Why are so many threads showing more replies than there really are??

Sorry, non "TECH" but this needs to be adressed somehow. Or wait, it probably was but you can't see the thread!

Riddle me this.....take a look at the thread in the apperance board titled "Getting the bird to light up PICS". It states it has 19 replies. (In my best Cartman voice), strange when I click on thread, I see only 9.
